  1. We accept the order/request only in Indian Rupees hence all prices are in INR only.

 

  1. Payment must be made at the time of ordering/requesting the services by credit card/debit card/ mobile wallet or other payment options given on bookmyvahan.com (payment gateway page) mobile application or website portal or at the time of delivery/pickup/starting of the journey by cash as per the given payment terms subject to the booking details if permitted or if approved by Bookmyvahan.com. Failure to pay on time will result in the cancellation of your order or request.

 

  1. The Terms and Conditions together with the Privacy Policy, any order form and payment instructions constitute the entire agreement between you and us. No other terms whether expressed or implied shall form part of this Agreement. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other term or provision on the website portal or Mobile Application, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

 

  1. If any terms or conditions of our Agreement shall be deemed invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the parties hereby agree that such terms or conditions shall be deemed to be deleted and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in force without such terms or conditions.

 

  1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian Law. Company will entertain the legalities only in Mumbai jurisdiction, the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India (particularly in Mumbai).

 

  1. No delay or failure on our part to enforce our rights or remedies under the Agreement shall constitute a waiver on our part of such rights or remedies unless such waiver is confirmed in writting.

 

  1. All dealings, correspondence and contacts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.

 

  1. We may subcontract any part or parts of the Services that we provide to you from time to time and we may assign any part or parts of our rights under these Terms and Conditions without your consent or any requirement to notify you.

 

  1. We may alter or vary the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to you.

 

  1. Do not use or launch any automated system or program in connection with our Mobile Application or website portal or its online ordering functionality.

 

  1. Do not collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from the Mobile Application or website portal, use communication systems provided by the Mobile Application or website portal for any commercial solicitation purposes, solicit for any reason whatsoever any users of the Mobile Application or website portal with respect to their submissions to the Mobile Application or website portal, or publish or distribute any vouchers or codes in connection with the Mobile Application, or website portal or scrape or hack the Mobile Application or website portal.

 

  1.  Accommodating Service animal like pet dog generally allowed but it is totally depends on Driver /Vehicle partner.

 

  1. We hereby declare that, we do not own any vehicle and we are committed to provide you best possible service through our approve vendors who owns vehicles.

 

  1. Rates are subject to change during festival season or as per current market condition.  If you have Booked Vehicle on our Web Portal/ Mobile application in advance for the dates during festival season then present rates on that festival dates as per festival season will be applicable or as per current market condition.

 

Important General Terms and Conditions for CAR/BUS/VEHICLES

 

1) A booking Id or booking voucher or reference number  will be sent to the traveller over email or through message (mostly through SMS), when user completes an online vehicle booking with Bookmyvahan.com.

2) Producing the booking Id or booking voucher or reference number provided earlier is mandatory to avail the rental services or the services offered by Bookmyvahan.com. If this is not done it entitles the driver/vendor/service provider to refuse service delivery without any liability on us to refund the booking amount or to pay any claim.

3) When a customer produces the booking Id or booking voucher or reference number provided to the user earlier, it implies that user has read and understood all terms and conditions, legal as well as privacy policies, disclaimer etc. mentioned herewith and agrees on all of them.

4) While touring, Duty slip (which is available with the driver) has to be filled and signed by the customer, if this has not been done by the customer no disputes will be entertained later. The start and end distance in Kms will be calculated from our vendor’s garage.

Driving speed of the vehicle should be as per the directions of the local transport authority only. Parking charges, toll charges, state entry taxes, permit charges and police entry or other entry fees/ charges or these types of charges etc. to be paid by the customer. 

5) Unless specified otherwise, all meter readings/distances/timings will be calculated to and fro from our vendor’s garage.

6) Distances between two locations (points) be it an intercity distance or from vendors garage etc. mentioned on the website are approximate. Actual distance may differ depending on the exact geographical location of the points under consideration.

7) Car or Bus air-conditioner may not work on hilly routes & also when the vehicle is not in motion. The customer is also not expected to request driver to make the air condition operational in the afore/above mentioned cases. In some cases our vendor may demand extra charges for touring in hilly areas.

8) If available on Bookmyvahan.com, the booking Id or booking voucher or reference number or discount coupon code is mandatory to avail any applicable discounts (or) in the case of cash back/discount.

 If available on Bookmyvahan.com, in case of cash back, the amount will be credited to your credit card/debit card account or cashless-Wallets from which the payment was made to Bookmyvahan.com in approximately within 15 to 45 days from the pickup date.

9) Any form of discounts are  applicable only on the basic fare and cannot be made available on extra charges like Parking charges, toll charges, state entry taxes/charges, permit charges and police entry or other entry fees/ charges or these types of charges etc. or other charges on for extra Kms consumed if applicable, charges for extra hours consumed if applicable, driver allowance, parking, night charges, unless specified.

10) The vehicle booked will be subject to availability. In a case where the vehicle booked is not available on the day of travel the customer will be provided with an alternative equivalent vehicle in the similar segment as applicable or full refund will be given within 7 days of the pickup date through the same mode of payment the customer has paid to us.

11) It may happen that for some travel routes, the car/bus  model which was reserved earlier by a customer online will not be able to actually run during travel due to the prevailing road conditions (OR) the probable danger of natural disasters. The reasons mentioned are beyond the control of Bookmyvahan.com and our vendors. In such a case Bookmyvahan.com will try to provide an upgraded or equivalent car/bus model which is typically used in that region at an additional charge.

In case Bookmyvahan.com or its vendor will not be able to provide the required vehicle then in that case, kindly note that we have already mentioned on listing page (where vehicle image and fare details are mentioned) of our website portal / mobile application that we will provide you equivalent vehicle for the same, so if user/customer refuse to board or allow the vehicle, then user/customer has to pay vehicle cancellation charges to bookmyvhahan.com as per our cancellation policy & terms.

12) Local Transfer and local car/bus/vehicle rental services are valid only within city limits. For the afore/above mentioned car/bus/vehicle rental services any request for outstation travel beyond city limits (generally toll naka/ checkpoint/check naka at city entry points) will entitle the driver to deny services without any liability to refund the booking amount or outstation trip package will be applicable as shown on the website portal  or mobile application. .

13) Customer can request for amendments to a booking made earlier by him only if the request is done 24 hours before the pickup time. No changes will be done within 24 hours of the  pickup time.

 In cases where amendments are requested on car type, the car type request is subject to availability.

In case of a no show where the customer has not informed Bookmyvahan.com or its vendor on the changes on his/her schedule 24 hours before the pickup no refunds will be made.

The amendments can be done by contacting the support team of Bookmyvahan.com on +91 8767 719 719 and mention the booking Id/ booking reference number (CRN number). 

14) The Package time will start as soon as vehicle leaves its garage. Customer is liable to pay waiting charges/ extra charges (if applicable) in the case of delay/extra k.m./extra hours as per package (be it for any reason).

15) Customer is liable to pay for any additional distance travelled and also for additional hourly charges if applicable (as per package). Any unscheduled changes will attract additional charges as applicable. 

16) All bookings under consideration are on a calendar day basis i.e. from midnight 12:00 to midnight 12:00.

17) Cars/Buses/Vehicles that are booked for outstation (any or all of one way, round trip & multicity) cannot be used for local travel or if used  then customer has to pay additional charges applicable.

As an example if a customer books a car/bus from Mumbai to Shirdi then to Nashik and back to Mumbai for a period of 3 days in total & has a predefined daily Km limit say for eg.250km and he returns back to Mumbai on the second day & has a balance Km limit of 50 with one day remaining, in spite of this he is not entitled to consume this 50Kms for local travel in Mumbai (Source city), however the customer can travel from Mumbai to some other city outside city limits of Mumbai & consume the remaining 50 Kms or more than this by paying additional charges. 

18) In case customer has selected outstation round trip but has decided  not to return back or end his journey then customer is liable to pay all travel charges like toll charges, taxes or any other charges etc. applicable when the vehicle returns back to its original location (garage) after dropping the customer to his destination/desired place.

19) In service of car or any other service having oneway service, Customer has to pay as per mentioned charges on bookmyvahan.com & should not pay any other charges demanded by the driver/vendor while travelling.

20) User/customer cannot amend his/her booking from one way to round trip or from one way to multi city trip while his/her travel is in progress.

 In case of emergency, a request for amendment while mentioning the booking ID or CRN number or booking reference number and reason for amendment has to be made to the support team at Bookmyvahan.com and can be availed only if approve.

Whether or not to make an amendment as per the request of the customer solely rests with our support team. If the amendment request by the customer is approved by our support team then they will guide on the difference amount to be paid to the driver in advance as to make the amendment a reality. This amount has to be paid immediately to the driver in cash after our team makes an amendment, failure to do so will not make the requested amendment a reality. 

21) The driver will wait for the customer on the travel date for not more than 45 minutes from his pick up time; in a case the customer does not inform the driver on the delay, after 45 minutes the booking will be considered as a case of no show and full booking amount will be forfeited/non refundable.

22) For all travel types (any or one way, round trip, transfers & local or others) customer has to bear all extra charges like driver allowance, toll charges, state or other taxes, or entry charges on for extra Kms consumed, charges for extra hours consumed, parking charges, night charges and any other charges applicable whether or not mentioned on the voucher or booking. 

23) Transfers with unspecified distance coverage will only include one way transfer either from airport or railway station or area location to a single location or vice versa. Pickups or drops from multiple locations are not included in such bookings. 

24) Cumulative amount of monetary discount shown on our website portal or mobile application is only for indicative purpose. The exact discount amount or savings offered depends on the service type. 

25) Bookmyvahan.com cannot be hold accountable for any delay or consequential loss caused to the customer due to traffic jam or reasons beyond reasonable control of the driver or lapses on the part of the driver. 

26) Bookmyvahan.com cannot be hold accountable for any loss, theft, damage, physical injury etc. suffered by the customer while availing its services. 

27) In case of any misconduct or misbehavior by the driver the customer should immediately report to the support team of Bookmyvahan.com at +91 8767 719 719 and share the experience while mentioning the Booking ID or booking reference number (CRN number). 

28) Bookmyvahan.com cannot be hold accountable for any loss, theft, damage or delay suffered by the customer due to force majeure events. 

29) In no event the entire liability of Bookmyvahan.com for any loss or damage arising due to car/bus/vehicle services or in the case of a valid refund claim shall not exceed the booking amount paid by the customer. 

30) In case of any dispute parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra. 

31) In addition to all the above mentioned terms & conditions, any other user terms mentioned on the website portal or mobile application or duty slip shall apply. 

32) In a scenario, where a customer already has received the driver & car/bus/vehicle details and the car/bus/vehicle hired does not show up on the day of travel, it will be considered as the failure of the fleet partner/vendor of Bookmyvahan.com ,being an online service provider we will take all necessary efforts to provide the customer an alternative mode of transport immediately, in the shortest possible time & if failing to do so will provide the customer a full refund as applicable or as paid by the customer, which will be processed in a maximum 7 to 15 days from the day the car/bus/vehicle travel was scheduled to begin.

Bookmyvahan.com is not liable to reimburse its customer for any expenses like hotel stay charges, flight ticket charges, food or any other type of monetary expenses which the customer had to bear as a result of no show of the car/bus/vehicle on the day of planned car/bus/vehicle travel or mechanical failure of the vehicle.

33) Bookmyvahan.com may use user’s mobile number & email ID shared while making an online booking/ registration with it (or) which is shared while filling its inquiry form for its promotional purposes. Bookmyvahan.com promises that the data will never be sold to any other business entity & will be solely used for its own promotional purposes.

34) It may happen that for some regions that the car/bus/vehicle model which was reserved earlier by a customer online cannot be actually made available due to restrictions by local car associations in that geography, which are beyond the control of Bookmyvahan.com. In such a case Bookmyvahan.com will try to take necessary steps to facilitate the booking and if any extra charges applicable for doing so will be paid by the user/customer or else we will make a full refund as paid by the customer within 7 to 15 days from the day the car/bus/vehicle travel was scheduled to begin.

 

35) We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from  time to time.

36) Bookmyvahan.com can send the car/bus/vehicle only at the time for which booking has made & not early whatsoever be the emergencies may be.

37) Due to any mechanical failure of any vehicle, Bookmyvahan.com being an online service provider will take all necessary efforts to provide the customer an alternative mode of transport immediately, in the shortest possible time & if failing to do so will provide the customer refund as applicable or as paid by the user/customer, which will be processed in a maximum 7 to 15 days from the day the car/bus/vehicle travel was scheduled to begin.

38) The final car/bus/vehicle rental amount inclusive of extra charges if any will attract applicable service tax.

39)  The Company will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the accompanying luggage.

40) In case of break down of the vehicle Bookmyvahan.com will try to arrange the alternate vehicle & if not arranged then the fare for uncovered portion of journey considering the nearest fare stage will refundable. 

41)  The company is not responsible for any loss of goods or property of the passengers and accident  The company shall not be responsible for any delay or inconvenience during the journey due to breakdown of the vehicle or other reasons beyond the control of the company.

42)  In Case of Service Cancellation, Customers are requested not to cancel the tickets/Package on their own, if any customer cancels the ticket/ Package, it will be treated as normal cancellation and refund will processed as per the report.

43) The trips are subject to cancellation or postponement due to breakdown of the vehicle for the trip. Under such circumstances, user/ passengers will be intimated through email/phone as soon as possible and the amount will be refunded. No passenger will be taken on the wayside. Baggage, Luggage, goods will be booked at owner's risk subjected to the acceptance by our company.

44) User/Customers/Travellers are expected to sit as per the seating capacity mentioned in the vehicle description.And if customers seats more than seating capacity then whatever fine would have been charged by the Police/traffic police/Law authority then that charges will be in customer's scope.

45) Images used on this webportal or for any promotional activities is only for representation purpose and the actual vehicle may differ.

46) Vehicle booked for outstaion cannot be used for Local use eventhough vehicle running has not crossed minimum average km per day limit and similarly Vehicle booked for local use cannot be used for outstaion.

 

Coupon Policy:

8) Agent cannot club this discount coupon with their commission.

 

Refund Policy:

If customer paid twice for one transaction, the one transaction amount will be refunded via same source within 07 to 10 working days.

16) All bookings under consideration are on a calendar day basis i.e. from midnight 12:00 to midnight 12:00.

17) Cars/Buses/Vehicles that are booked for outstation (any or all of one way, round trip & multicity) cannot be used for local travel or if used  then customer has to pay additional charges applicable.

As an example if a customer books a car/bus from Mumbai to Shirdi then to Nashik and back to Mumbai for a period of 3 days in total & has a predefined daily Km limit say for eg.250km and he returns back to Mumbai on the second day & has a balance Km limit of 50 with one day remaining, in spite of this he is not entitled to consume this 50Kms for local travel in Mumbai (Source city), however the customer can travel from Mumbai to some other city outside city limits of Mumbai & consume the remaining 50 Kms or more than this by paying additional charges. 

18) In case customer has selected outstation round trip but has decided  not to return back or end his journey then customer is liable to pay all travel charges like toll charges, taxes or any other charges etc. applicable when the vehicle returns back to its original location (garage) after dropping the customer to his destination/desired place.

19) In service of car or any other service having oneway service, Customer has to pay as per mentioned charges on bookmyvahan.com & should not pay any other charges demanded by the driver/vendor while travelling.

20) User/customer cannot amend his/her booking from one way to round trip or from one way to multi city trip while his/her travel is in progress.

 In case of emergency, a request for amendment while mentioning the booking ID or CRN number or booking reference number and reason for amendment has to be made to the support team at Bookmyvahan.com and can be availed only if approve.

Whether or not to make an amendment as per the request of the customer solely rests with our support team. If the amendment request by the customer is approved by our support team then they will guide on the difference amount to be paid to the driver in advance as to make the amendment a reality. This amount has to be paid immediately to the driver in cash after our team makes an amendment, failure to do so will not make the requested amendment a reality. 

21) The driver will wait for the customer on the travel date for not more than 45 minutes from his pick up time; in a case the customer does not inform the driver on the delay, after 45 minutes the booking will be considered as a case of no show and full booking amount will be forfeited/non refundable.

22) For all travel types (any or one way, round trip, transfers & local or others) customer has to bear all extra charges like driver allowance, toll charges, state or other taxes, or entry charges on for extra Kms consumed, charges for extra hours consumed, parking charges, night charges and any other charges applicable whether or not mentioned on the voucher or booking. 

23) Transfers with unspecified distance coverage will only include one way transfer either from airport or railway station or area location to a single location or vice versa. Pickups or drops from multiple locations are not included in such bookings. 

24) Cumulative amount of monetary discount shown on our website portal or mobile application is only for indicative purpose. The exact discount amount or savings offered depends on the service type. 

25) Bookmyvahan.com cannot be hold accountable for any delay or consequential loss caused to the customer due to traffic jam or reasons beyond reasonable control of the driver or lapses on the part of the driver. 

26) Bookmyvahan.com cannot be hold accountable for any loss, theft, damage, physical injury etc. suffered by the customer while availing its services. 

27) In case of any misconduct or misbehavior by the driver the customer should immediately report to the support team of Bookmyvahan.com at +91 8767 719 719 and share the experience while mentioning the Booking ID or booking reference number (CRN number). 

28) Bookmyvahan.com cannot be hold accountable for any loss, theft, damage or delay suffered by the customer due to force majeure events. 

29) In no event the entire liability of Bookmyvahan.com for any loss or damage arising due to car/bus/vehicle services or in the case of a valid refund claim shall not exceed the booking amount paid by the customer. 

30) In case of any dispute parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra. 

31) In addition to all the above mentioned terms & conditions, any other user terms mentioned on the website portal or mobile application or duty slip shall apply. 

32) In a scenario, where a customer already has received the driver & car/bus/vehicle details and the car/bus/vehicle hired does not show up on the day of travel, it will be considered as the failure of the fleet partner/vendor of Bookmyvahan.com ,being an online service provider we will take all necessary efforts to provide the customer an alternative mode of transport immediately, in the shortest possible time & if failing to do so will provide the customer a full refund as applicable or as paid by the customer, which will be processed in a maximum 7 to 15 days from the day the car/bus/vehicle travel was scheduled to begin.

Bookmyvahan.com is not liable to reimburse its customer for any expenses like hotel stay charges, flight ticket charges, food or any other type of monetary expenses which the customer had to bear as a result of no show of the car/bus/vehicle on the day of planned car/bus/vehicle travel or mechanical failure of the vehicle.

33) Bookmyvahan.com may use user’s mobile number & email ID shared while making an online booking/ registration with it (or) which is shared while filling its inquiry form for its promotional purposes. Bookmyvahan.com promises that the data will never be sold to any other business entity & will be solely used for its own promotional purposes.

34) It may happen that for some regions that the car/bus/vehicle model which was reserved earlier by a customer online cannot be actually made available due to restrictions by local car associations in that geography, which are beyond the control of Bookmyvahan.com. In such a case Bookmyvahan.com will try to take necessary steps to facilitate the booking and if any extra charges applicable for doing so will be paid by the user/customer or else we will make a full refund as paid by the customer within 7 to 15 days from the day the car/bus/vehicle travel was scheduled to begin.

 

35) We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from  time to time.

36) Bookmyvahan.com can send the car/bus/vehicle only at the time for which booking has made & not early whatsoever be the emergencies may be.

37) Due to any mechanical failure of any vehicle, Bookmyvahan.com being an online service provider will take all necessary efforts to provide the customer an alternative mode of transport immediately, in the shortest possible time & if failing to do so will provide the customer refund as applicable or as paid by the user/customer, which will be processed in a maximum 7 to 15 days from the day the car/bus/vehicle travel was scheduled to begin.

38) The final car/bus/vehicle rental amount inclusive of extra charges if any will attract applicable service tax.

39)  The Company will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the accompanying luggage.

40)   In case of break down of the vehicle Bookmyvahan.com will try to arrange the alternate vehicle & if not arranged then the fare for uncovered portion of journey considering the nearest fare stage will refundable.

41)  In case of Bus City Darshan Unless otherwise notified, the company will operate services from authorized embarkation / disembarkation points on routes. To ensure safety, security and operational convenience, all passengers are instructed to refrain from boarding / getting off the busses at any other location on route.

42)  The arrival and departure times mentioned on the ticket/ Package are only tentative timings. Buses may be delayed due to some unavoidable reasons like traffic jams etc.; however the bus will not leave the source (Pick up Point) before the time that is mentioned on the ticket/ Package.

43) In case of city darshan, passengers are requested to arrive at the boarding point at least 15 mines. Before the scheduled time of departure. 

44)   In case of city darshan,Passengers are required to furnish the ticket/Booking Details at the time of boarding the bus. Failing to do so, they may not be allowed to board the bus.

45)   In case of city darshan, Operator have right to change the Seat No.

46)   The company is not responsible for any loss of goods or property of the passengers and accident.

47)  The company shall not be responsible for any delay or inconvenience during the journey due to breakdown of the vehicle or other reasons beyond the control of the company.

48)   In Case of Service Cancellation, Customers are requested not to cancel the tickets/Package on their own, if any customer cancels the ticket/ Package, it will be treated as normal cancellation and refund will processed as per the report.

49)  The trips are subject to cancellation or postponement due to breakdown of the vehicle for the trip or insufficiant passangers in case of city drashan. Under such circumstances, user/ passengers will be intimated through email/phone as soon as possible and the amount will be refunded. No passenger will be taken on the wayside. Baggage, Luggage, goods will be booked at owner's risk subjected to the acceptance by our company.

50) After the booking , we may ask you to provide us the exact tour plan and any deviation in the plan may attract extra charges.For example: If while returning from the trip if your drop location changes then driver/vendor partner may ask you extra charges no matter your running KM's have not touched the minimum KM average per day as there are lot of reasons needs to be attend.

51) User/Customers/Travellers are expected to sit as per the seating capacity mentioned in the vehicle description.And if customers seats more than seating capacity then whatever fine would have been charged by the Police/traffic police/Law authority then that charges will be in customer's scope.

52)  Images used on this webportal or for any promotional activities is only for representation purpose and the actual vehicle may differ.

53) Incase of BEST Bus bookings, Service tax of extra 15% is applicable.

54) Vehicle booked for outstaion cannot be used for Local use eventhough vehicle running has not crossed minimum average km per day limit and similarly Vehicle booked for local use cannot be used for outstaion.
